About the Adonai Malakh scale
Adonai Malakh is one of the prayer modes of Jewish liturgy. The version in the app has eight notes: root, flat 2nd, 2nd, flat 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and flat 7th.
Without the flat 2nd it is Dorian. The extra note adds a half step run from the root up to the flat 3rd.
Use the run of half steps at the bottom as a turn around the root.
