These terms cover the Guitar Upscale website, the web app and the Android app, made by Oleg Chibikov. By using them you agree to these terms. Last updated 27 October 2026.

Using the app

You may use Guitar Upscale for personal practice, learning and making music. Music you record or write with it is yours.

Don't copy, resell or rebrand the app, and don't try to break or overload its servers.

Paid plans

Some features need a paid plan through Patreon or Google Play. The plan renews until you cancel it with the service you paid through. Refunds follow the rules of Patreon or Google Play. Prices and features may change. A change in price is shown before you pay it.

Songs and files

The song search shows files from Songsterr, BitMidi, GProTab and MidiWorld. Those files belong to their owners. Upload and play only files you have the right to use.

Lessons on this site

The lessons, charts and texts on this site are written for Guitar Upscale. You may share links to them. Please don't copy them to other sites.

No warranty

The app is provided as is. It may have bugs, and features may change or go away. Oleg Chibikov isn't liable for losses from using it, as far as the law allows. Keep copies of songs and recordings you care about.

Your data

The privacy policy explains what data the app keeps and shares.
