About the Ten Tone Harmonic scale

The notes are root, flat 2nd, 2nd, flat 3rd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, flat 6th, flat 7th and 7th.

It has both 3rds and both 7ths, with only the flat 6th. That gives the dark, exotic sound of harmonic minor and Phrygian dominant at once.

With ten of twelve notes, it is close to chromatic. Use it for minor songs with a major chord on the root or on the 5th.
