About the In Sen Scale
The notes are root, flat 2nd, 4th, 5th and flat 7th. It has no 3rd, so it sits between major and minor.
The flat 2nd adds tension right over the root. The flat 7th keeps the top open.
It works well for slow, airy melodies with long notes.
