About the Suspended 2nd Chord
Csus2 is C, D and G. Without a 3rd it has no major or minor colour.
Pop and rock guitarists use it for shimmering open chords. Dsus2 and Asus2 are easy to play in open position.
It often moves back to the plain major or minor chord, the 2nd rising to the 3rd.
